Memory Verse Quiz Preparation:
- Your Verses: Habakkuk 3:17-19
- Your Question: Despite terrible things happening all around, Habakkuk will continue to trust in and worship God. He brings up three qualities of God that would help us do the same. Describe these qualities & tell how they can help us trust in God, even when times are bad.
- - The Qualities:
- - - Savior: Meaning... Deliverer, Rescuer, ‘My salvation’
- - - Sovereign: Meaning... Master, Ruler, Owner, Commander, Lord
- - - Strength: Meaning... Force, Might, Power, Army, Wealth
- - Show me some of your own critical thought in how these things could help one trust in God, even in bad times. Think of how you would answer this question, "In bad times, knowing God is sovereign/strong/my savior can help me trust him because..." Remember the focus is on how we could still trust in God during bad times; consider how these qualities help us to do this.
