Redemption: If we can think in many wrong ways, there must be right ways we can think.  How does a Christian think in the right way? Here are some ways the Bible encourages us to work with God to avoid sins in our minds & hearts
- Philippians 4:7-9, God’s “peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus ... Fix your thoughts (focus our mind) on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Then the God of peace will be with you.”
- - 2 Corinthians 10:5, “We … take every thought captive to obey Christ”
- - Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…”
- - - Let God renew your mind so that you are transformed!
- - James 4:8, 10, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded... Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.”
- - - Humble yourself before God & purify your heart (w/His help)

Restoration: Also called ‘our glorification’ (1 Cor. 15:35-58)
- Because of what Jesus did,
- - In the end, God resurrects (复活) us into a body
- - - This body is eternal (immortal—it cannot die!)
- - - It is ‘spiritual’, it no longer competes with the spirit
- - - It is full of glory & strength!
- - In the end, Satan and even death are totally defeated!

- To study this more,
- - Go to page 8-9 of your Study Packet
- - We’ll read 1 Corinthians 15:35-58 & Revelation 21:1-8
- - For the rest of the period, work on this
